The Big Sing Bar will be open on Sunday prior to the concert, during interval and for post-concert celebrations, stocked with McLaren Vale wines and bottled water.
Optional Open Rehearsals
As always, we will source access to optional rehearsals with other choirs to help you learn the score (in addition to the options already listed at State Opera)
You will be notified of these opportunities as they become available.
If your choir will be rehearsing for At the Opera, please ask your representative to contact Greg John (greg.john@bigsing.org.au, 0405 053 331), to discuss opening some of your rehearsals to other choristers.
Scores
The score is available as a pdf for you to print your own copy or download to your tablet.
You must use this version of the score which has been edited by the Music Director and Conductor for this performance.
If you are printing your score, we recommend you have it bound and use a black folder for the performance.
We expect all registered choristers to arrange for printing of their own score.
Online rehearsal aids
Online you will find:
- Learning Tracks (including a Read Me First doc). Depending on the speed of your internet, you may prefer to download the files to your own device.
- Pronunciation Guides
- Reference Listening Tracks
Folders
Please use a black folder for the performance unless you already have plain black covers on your score.
Concert Dress
Black (or dark) bottoms and black tops (including jackets/jumpers if the weather is cold—the stadium is not air-conditioned).
Change rooms are available if needed.
Photography and film
We will have a photographer and videographer documenting the event. Please let us know in advance if you don’t wish your image to appear online.
